"جاكوار" سيارة عريقة زادت شهرتها بعد استخدام الأميرة ديانا لها أمام وسائل الإعلام وأصدرت شركتها البريطانية عدة موديلات خرجت عن اطار الكلاسيكية المعهود الذى سارت عليه لسنوات طويلة.
جاءت "جاكوار Xf "لتكتمل منظومة الشركة التى تتخذ من الفخامة شعارا لها حيث ظهرت لتبدو مثيرة من الخارج، حيث تجمع فى تصميمها الجرىء بين ملامح السيارات الرياضية مع سلاسة سيارات الصالون الفاخرة مما يعطيها بعدا أكثر ديناميكية وقدرة على لفت أنظار معجبيها .

تعتمد سيارة جاكوار الجديدة على محرك توربو ديزل من ستة سلندرات سعة 2200سى سى" يولد قوة قدرها 238 حصانا، كما تم استخدام علبة تروس أوتوماتيكية مصممة خصيصا من مهندسى "جاكوار" وتنقل التعشيق بسلاسة فى خلال 200مل ثانية أى أسرع 4 مرات من متوسط نبضات قلب الإنسان.

تتبع السيارة لغة جديدة فى التصميم الداخلى، بها خمسة مقاعد مميزة التصميم تحتضن الجالسين فى رقة، وتخلق بيئة أكثر راحة ومرح بالإضافة إلى الإضاءة الداخلية، والتى أدخلت على الصالون لتحيله إلى مكان تسطع فيه الشمس، كما تم تصميم أجنحة جانبية مميزة تعطى للهواء قدرة ديناميكية وإنسيابية عالية من خلال فتحات التكييف التى توجه الهواء بشكل دائرى فى المقصورة.

وتحتوى السيارة أيضاعلى تقنيات ذكية فضلا عن شاشتها التى تعمل باللمس وتقنيات أخرى عديده تساعد على الراحة، أهمها استخدام النظام الذكى لبدء تشغيل وايقاف المحرك stop-start، وفى ظل هذا النظام يتم ايقاف المحرك تلقائيا خلال 300مل ثانية عندما تكون السيارة فى حاجة إلى الراحة من أجل الاقتصاد فى الوقود, وهناك بطارية ثانوية مخصصة فقط لإعادة تشغيل المحرك على الفور بمجرد ان يترك السائق قدمه من على دواسة الفرامل، وتضمن تلك الخطوة عملية التشغيل بالشكل الأمثل فى الوقت الذى يتم فيه الضغط على دواسة البنزين.

جدير بالذكر ان السرعة القصوى لجاكوار الجديدة تصل إلى 250 كم بالساعة ومعدل استهلاك الوقود يصل إلى 11,1 لتر لكل 100 كم .

18” 6 spoke Cygnus-style alloy wheels come as standard on the XF, with 19” Artura-style alloy wheels in standard or chrome versions available as options.

XF comes in a choice of ten colors, eight of which are metallic with choices from Polaris White through to Ebony.


Bond Grain leather seats come standard on the XF in the following colors:
- Warm Charcoal seats with Warm Charcoal interior and Dove headlining
- Dove seats with Warm Charcoal interior and Dove headlining
- Barley seats with Truffle interior and Canvas headlining

XF comes with Knurled Aluminum and Burl Walnut veneer fitted as standard with Satin American veneer available as an option.
