| Varicose Veins (V.V.) * Definition: dilates, tortuous, subcutaneous vein.
* Classification: - Primary V.V.: superficial vein are dilated, and the vein may or may not be rend area incompetent.
- Secondary: result from previous DUT, of the deep femoral veins, with subsequent vascular incompetence.
* PathoPhysiology:
1. Dilated and tortuous of vein. 2. Venous pressure. 3. Venous obstruction resulting from thrombosis or occupation that requires prologs standing. 4. A valve stretched and becomes incompetent. 5. Edema develops.
* Clinical Manifestation: 1. Ach or pain 2. Swelling 3.Noctunal leg cramps.
* Nursing Management: - Sclera therapy. - Venous legation and dissection. - Elevate leg, stocking, walking. - Avoid by standing. - Avoid constructing cloth. - Wear compression stocking. - Frequent assessment. - Weight | |
