Widgets currently come in one size on Symbian^3 devices, but images from
Nokia Germany hint we could be seeing some changes. On a promotional
site, we see widgets on the homescreen that are 6×1, 3×2, and shortcuts
that are 1×1. Is this coming out with the Symbian Anna update? Symbian

Nokia Germany was kind enough to shed some light on the Symbian^3 update
after Anna (PR2.0). We have three separate images of the next version
of Symbian^3, showing a new and improved homescreen. The update is
currently rumored to be called Symbian Belle.

The homescreens show that widgets aren’t limited to the regular
rectangular shape we’ve seen in current Symbian^3 versions. The images

Forum Nokia has seldom been the source for some
leaked Nokia stuff, but today this isn’t the case! We have the honor to
present the first images of the next Symbian version after Anna,
currently called Belle. This is the same stuff that was previously known
as PR3.0. It will be a redesigned Symbian version, with much focus on
the User Interface. The UI will be a more streamlined, more modern
version of the currently available Symbian version.

In the images above, you see how the new Symbian toolbar and
notification bar will look like. The toolbar is pretty near what Windows
Phone 7 or Android has now. The notification bar is also much like what
we see on Android and iOS. All the status indicators have been moved in
a smaller space, and should be visible all the time.

n the Internet there was another piece of rumors about the new operating
system company Nokia - Symbian Belle, release is scheduled for the
autumn. Maybe it will happen at the conference Nokia World 2011, held in
October.



So, according to a certain source, who had the opportunity to work with a
smartphone running Symbia Belle, a new Operating System is really
stable. The new browser will be much more functional and more quickly.
