Sleeping Beauty

Her eyes are beautiful, but they are closed
She`s sleeping, she wasn`t supposed
Trapped in her own sub conscience, so cruel
The tear slipping in her face looks like a shinning jewel

Eternal nightmares, she has no dreams
In her own mind she just screams
She sees all the ones she loves getting killed
And she can`t find a protection she can build

If she could she would never sleep
That way she wouldn`t have to weep
Used to the fact that she can`t wake up
She`s waiting for someone who can interrupt

Her happiness is now so far away
Hoping this sleepiness hasn`t come to stay
She needs someone to save her from herself
Because these nightmares won`t stop for themselves

Her chest doesn`t move, like she`s not breathing anymore
She needs someone who can fight this and make a restore
She received a kiss from this prince, but was it real?
Or was just her first dream he was trying to steal?

If she could she would never sleep
That way she wouldn`t have to weep
Used to the fact that she can`t wake up
