Biotite crystals are yellowish green in color
and they appear in a tabular form
Amphibole is green in color and appears
in a tabular or fibrous form
Alteration: not noticeable
Opaques: not very common

in an irregular form Quartz is abundant
it appears in an irregular form
Plagioclase is relatively finer and less abundant compared to k-feldspar
Alteration: the feldspar crystals are rimmed with sericite
Opaques: very rare

forming the micrographic texture
Biotite is not very common; it appears in aggregates as fine tabular crystals
Alteration: the rock is slightly affected by sericite-muscovite alteration
Opaques: common; they are found scattered in the rock as tiny irregular grains

orientation and containing
uncrushed grains of the original rock
The rock is also microfractured and the microfractures
are aligned in the direction of orientation
Mineral composition: the fine groundmass consists of quartz
and micaceous minerals together with epidote and carbonate
The uncrushed grains are of feldspar and quartz
Alteration: not noticeable
Opaques: common; they are found scattered in the rock as tiny irregular grains
